Welcome to Repairing Expert.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) govern your access to and use of www.repairingexpert.com (the “Website”) and your purchase or use of repair, maintenance, installation, inspection and related services provided by Repairing Expert (“Repairing Expert”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing the Website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation, booking an appointment, communicating with us regarding a service, or accepting a service from us, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or our services.

- Other appliance-related services offered by us from time to time
Services may be provided at the customer’s premises where available and appropriate.
Our current Website describes doorstep appliance repair services in Gurugram and Faridabad. Service availability may vary by locality, appliance, technician availability and other operational considerations.
2. Service Requests and Booking
You may request a service through our Website, telephone, WhatsApp or another communication channel made available by us.
Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee an appointment until the appointment is confirmed by Repairing Expert.
When making a booking, you may be required to provide:
- Your name;
- Mobile number;
- Email address;
- Service address;
- Appliance information;
- Description of the issue; and
- Preferred service timing.
You are responsible for providing accurate information.
We may contact you to confirm or clarify the booking before assigning a technician.
3. Appointment Timing
We will make reasonable efforts to attend at the agreed or communicated time.
However, arrival times may be affected by:
- Traffic;
- Weather;
- Technician availability;
- Previous appointments;
- Appliance or service complexity;
- Availability of spare parts;
- Access restrictions;
- Emergency service requests; or
- Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Any time provided for a visit should therefore be treated as an estimated appointment window unless expressly confirmed as a fixed appointment.
4. Inspection and Diagnosis
A technician may inspect the appliance before providing a final repair recommendation or price.
The initial information provided through a phone call, WhatsApp message, website form or other communication may not be sufficient to determine the exact cause of a fault.
A final diagnosis may require physical inspection.
Where applicable, we will communicate the estimated repair cost before undertaking chargeable repair work.
5. Estimates and Pricing
Repair prices may depend on:
- Appliance type;
- Brand and model;
- Nature of the fault;
- Labour required;
- Parts required;
- Accessibility of the appliance;
- Additional services requested; and
- Other factors identified during inspection.
Any quotation or estimate provided before physical inspection may be subject to change if the actual condition of the appliance differs materially from the information initially provided.
Where additional work or parts are required beyond an approved estimate, we may seek your approval before proceeding.
6. No Hidden Charges
We aim to provide clear and transparent pricing.
However, charges may arise where you request additional services, where additional faults are discovered, where replacement parts are required, or where circumstances differ from those described when the appointment was booked.
Any material additional charge should be communicated before the additional work is undertaken, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law.
7. Customer Approval
Before chargeable repair work is undertaken, the customer may be required to approve the quoted or estimated charges.
Approval may be provided verbally, electronically, through WhatsApp, by message, through a booking system or by another reasonable method.
Once repair work has been approved and commenced, cancellation or reversal may be subject to the applicable cancellation, labour, inspection and parts policies.
8. Spare Parts
Where a replacement part is required, we may use a suitable replacement part compatible with the appliance.
Part availability may vary by appliance model, brand, age and market availability.
If a required part is unavailable, discontinued or subject to extended procurement time, completion of the repair may be delayed.
Where appropriate, we may offer an alternative repair option or advise that replacement of the appliance may be more economical.
9. Parts Warranty
Any warranty applicable to replacement parts will depend on the part supplied and the warranty terms communicated at the time of service.
Warranty coverage may exclude:
- Physical damage;
- Misuse;
- Unauthorized modification;
- Electrical surges or unstable power supply;
- Water or liquid damage;
- Pest or rodent damage;
- External damage;
- Normal wear and tear;
- Further faults unrelated to the repaired issue; or
- Failure to follow reasonable operating or maintenance instructions.
The specific warranty period and exclusions applicable to a repair should be confirmed on the invoice, service receipt or written warranty provided to you.
10. Service Warranty
Where Repairing Expert provides a service warranty, the applicable warranty period and scope may vary depending on:
- The appliance;
- Type of repair;
- Parts replaced;
- Nature of the original fault; and
- Terms communicated at the time of service.
A service warranty generally covers recurrence of the same repaired fault during the stated warranty period and does not automatically cover unrelated faults.
Customers seeking warranty service may be required to provide the original invoice, service receipt or booking details.
11. Warranty Exclusions
Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, a repair or service warranty may not cover:
- New or unrelated faults.
- Damage caused by misuse or negligence.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Damage caused by voltage fluctuation, electrical surge or power failure.
- Damage caused by water leakage, flooding or external environmental conditions.
- Physical damage occurring after the service.
- Consumable components or normal wear-and-tear items.
- Problems caused by accessories or external components.
- Appliances moved or altered after our service where that affects the repaired condition.
- Failure caused by incorrect installation by another person.
- Commercial or industrial use unless specifically covered.
- Any condition expressly excluded in the service invoice or warranty document.
The actual warranty terms supplied with a particular service will prevail where they provide more specific conditions.
12. Appliance Condition and Pre-Existing Damage
The customer should disclose known problems or damage before service where reasonably possible.
We are not responsible for unrelated pre-existing defects that were not caused by our service.
If an appliance is already significantly damaged, unsafe, corroded, unstable or otherwise unsuitable for repair, the technician may decline to perform the work or recommend replacement.
13. Safe Access to the Appliance
The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance.
The appliance and surrounding area should be reasonably accessible and free from hazards.
Where necessary, customers should:
- Remove personal items from the work area;
- Provide access to the appliance;
- Ensure reasonable lighting and working space;
- Keep children and pets away from the work area; and
- Inform the technician about known hazards.
We may refuse or postpone work where the working environment presents an unreasonable safety risk.
14. Electrical, Gas, Water and Other Hazards
Appliances may involve electricity, gas, water, heat, moving mechanical parts or other hazards.
Customers must inform the technician of any known safety issue, unusual smell, electrical fault, leakage, structural problem or other hazard.
Where an appliance or installation is unsafe to work on, we may stop or decline the service.
Nothing in these Terms requires a technician to perform work that they reasonably believe presents an unacceptable safety risk.
15. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and service information;
- Ensure someone authorized to approve the work is available where required;
- Provide safe access to the appliance;
- Follow reasonable instructions provided by the technician;
- Obtain necessary permission from a landlord, property owner, housing society or other authority where applicable;
- Pay approved charges when due;
- Not intentionally interfere with the technician’s work; and
- Inform us promptly about any issue concerning the completed service.
16. Property Access
Where service is performed at a residential or commercial property, you represent that you have permission to request the service and allow the technician to access the relevant appliance.
If special permission, security clearance, parking authorization or building access is required, the customer is responsible for arranging it unless otherwise agreed.
Delays caused by failure to arrange access may affect the appointment.
17. Customer Property
Technicians will take reasonable care while working at the service location.
Customers should remove fragile, valuable or unrelated personal items from the immediate work area before the appointment.
Where an appliance must be moved, disconnected or repositioned, we may require appropriate assistance or may decline to move exceptionally heavy, inaccessible or hazardous equipment.
18. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Customers may request cancellation or rescheduling by contacting us as soon as reasonably possible.
We may apply reasonable inspection, visit, labour or other charges where:
- A technician has already travelled to the location;
- The appointment was cancelled after the technician was dispatched;
- The customer was unavailable;
- Access to the appliance was not provided;
- The customer cancelled after work had begun; or
- Special parts or services had already been arranged.
Any cancellation charge applicable to a particular service will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
19. No-Show Appointments
If no authorized person is available at the agreed service location, or the technician cannot reasonably access the appliance, the appointment may be treated as a no-show or unsuccessful visit.
A new appointment may require rescheduling and may be subject to an applicable visit or cancellation charge.
20. Payment
Payment must be made using an accepted payment method communicated by Repairing Expert.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Charges become payable when the relevant service is completed;
- Approved additional work or parts may increase the final amount;
- Customers should retain their invoice or payment confirmation;
- Taxes, if applicable, may be added to the stated price.
Failure to pay an undisputed amount may result in suspension of further services.
21. Taxes and Government Charges
Prices may be subject to applicable taxes, duties, levies or other government charges.
Where applicable, such amounts may be shown separately on the invoice.
22. Installation Services
Where we provide installation services, the scope of installation will depend on the service ordered.
Unless expressly included, installation charges may not cover:
- Major electrical work;
- Major plumbing work;
- Civil construction;
- Wall cutting or structural modification;
- Special brackets or mounting hardware;
- Extended piping or wiring;
- Additional drainage arrangements;
- Modification of existing infrastructure; or
- Other work outside the agreed installation scope.
Any additional work should be agreed separately.
23. Repair vs. Replacement
A technician may advise that replacing an appliance is more economical than repairing it.
Any such recommendation is advisory.
The customer remains responsible for deciding whether to repair or replace the appliance.
24. Third-Party Brands
Repairing Expert may service appliances manufactured by various brands.
Unless expressly stated in writing, Repairing Expert is not the manufacturer of those appliances and is not an authorized representative of a particular brand merely because we service that brand.
All trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners.
25. Manufacturer Warranty
Our independent repair service does not automatically extend, replace or preserve a manufacturer’s warranty.
Customers should check the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms before authorizing third-party repair.
Where a manufacturer warranty is relevant, the customer should confirm whether using an independent service provider may affect that warranty.
